He was the only boy who ever knew the truth

I feel sick to my stomach tonight thinking about Kurt Cobain's death. Why would this suddenly creep up on me 15 years later I have no clue. He was so beautiful. Out of all the musician's deaths, his and John Lennon's are the most devastating to me.

I would really like to believe that Courtney had nothing to do with his death....or maybe not. I'm not sure what's worse: him feeling there was no way out besides taking his own life or this washed-up whore hiring someone to off him....

Either way, here is a song she wrote about him. I really adore the lyrics and am iffy on the actual song. Regardless, it's worth listening to at least once. Imeem won't allow me to embed the full song, so just click the link to listen to it:

i was 7 when i watched this with my older brothers and sisters. i still remember how 4:48 sent shivers down my spine. you know music is good if even a 7 year old can appreciate it. it was the most amazing performance ever to be shown on mtv...is and always will be.

I know what you mean. That part of the still gives me chills to this day. I too was quite young when this came out and still remember to this day how much it impacted me.

I feel sorry for the newer generations regarding music. Music just isn't the same as it used to be. It seems to have lost its soul.

I remember the day that this happened. I was in the 7th grade and it was all the kids were talking about at school that day.
It was sad and I cried admittedly.
Unfortunately he sang his demise in his music and he had started to go through alot of depression and sad circumstances.
One can only wonder what would have happened had he gotten some help.

Wow, so you're about the same age as me! I didn't realize that! Many years back I rented this documentary that focused on the conspiracy of his death and laid out all the facts for how he couldn't have killed himself.

Some man was even interviewed saying that Courtney hired him to kill Kurt but he declined. A few weeks after he came forward about being hired he was mysteriously hit by a train and died. Even her own father says that he believes she had something to do with his death.

And lastly, they say that the trigger was too far for him to reach and also put in his mouth and his shoes were on so he didn't use his toes. All these facts plus more leave so much mystery to his death. Or maybe it's just that none of us want to believe that he really killed himself. Hmmmm....

i completely agree with your last lines. the facts don't add up. i also think the cops closed the case too early.

Yep 30 here and loving it. It was rather odd everything that went down and one of those things that will remain a mystery.

They say that Marilyn Monroe committed suicide as well.
I don't believe that either.

Everyday above ground is a day you want to go out and live.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
Have a great Sunday.
