Testing out one of my parent's cameras....
My camera broke several months ago which is a huge bummer. This camera is not too good unfortunately, but I guess it will have to do for the time being....

Here's moi!

Look at all the noise in the background! Grrr....

I'm not too smiley

If it's easy to you to photoshop pictures a bit, there's a great plug-in called Noiseware that do some miracles :D

I will look into it. What's a plug-in though? Do I download it?

I am so sorry about your camera.
Those are beautiful pictures, though. I think the noise in the background adds to the beauty of them. It is not distracting at all.

PS. Your skin is so pretty. You always seem to look a little glowy-- ethereal.

Thanks! You've got an equally dewy complexion! And I'm glad you don't think that noise is distracting, because I was really bummed about that.

Are you strictly digital or do you also enjoy film?

Well, I certainly enjoy film, though I do not enjoy having to pay money to have it developed only to learn that I do not even like half of the photos that I developed. Now, if I had a darkroom, it would be a different story.

I might be taking photography II at my school, which would give me about 3 or 4 months access to a dark room. IF I take it, I'd be willing to develop your film for you cheaply/ maybe free.

Awww, thank you so much for the offer! Although, I do not have a non-digi camera right now. I'm pretty content just using digital at this point too. You better post your photos if you take the class though!

I at this point have a deviantart that my current stuff is on. I have a lot of stuff from photography I but its not uploaded since its actual prints.

But I can promise new work soon because I'm debating on photography II vs digital photography and I feel its going to be a last minute decision since I'm torn between the two.

Well, we're certainly in a digital era and you can manipulate digital to look like film photography, but really not the other way around. I'd recommend digital for that reason and also because it's far cheaper.

True but film is more of an art work to me. Because with digital if you want to fade or burn its all a mouse click. With film, you get to try different filters and burn and everything yourself with out having to use a computer. Plus it's more exciting waiting for a development to finish...kinda like christmas to see if you did it right.

as for cost, its rather cheap if you get wholesale off ebay...that is to say those packages where you get 10+ rolls of film for like $20 instead of buying each one , one by one
